mighta turned a small corner on this rather busy day.
my kitchen helper (kitchen goddess is her official title) bought a house at auction today, 3 doors down on the corner across from my arch nemesis, spud. (cheap it was, good for her)
that was not the corner, bear with me...
had to work the late shift after I got done cookin' (nebborette subbing for kitchen goddess) and my arse was draggin' the dirt road of the alley on the way home, so I came in, chatted with my friend bob for a few, and then grabbed my fedora for attitude.
went back and listened to the band for a bit, and chatted with some customers, one of whom has his vehicle in my shop for a new brake line. anyways, came out of the deal with an new old mig welder to complete the upgrading of the shop for winter. now all i need is to get my double barrel built and plumbed (welder helps here immensely), and mebbe i can give old man winter a run for his money, yet...
