been a zep guy since I can remember, and always kinda left this tune alone, cuz all the wanna be fans thought it was the greatest song ever.
the other night my dishwasher (15 and rudderless, but sweet) asked me to turn it off when it came on during a rush. I told him I was way to busy to mess with the radio, turn it down hisself if it bothered him that much, and he did.
I asked him the next day how a fifteen tear old kid could possibly hate one of the most famous songs by one of the greatest bands to exist before he was born, and he made me feel terrible.
the song was the one his father had chosen to be played at his funeral...
we talked some more, and we're good, but it makes you think a bit.
I went and listened to it from a different angle, and now it haunts me just a little...
