@Rockhead,
I'm a thousand miles from nowhere,
Time don't matter to me.
'Cause I'm a thousand miles from nowhere,
And there's no place I wanna be.
I got heartaches in my pocket,
I got echoes in my head.
And all that I keep hearing,
Are the cruel, cruel things that you said.

I found this version on Youtube, the guy isn't the best singer....his voice has some odd tones in it.....but generally that does not matter so much to me, if the person gets the feel of the song right....and I think this guy did.

This is one of my fav songs, and I often sing it while working or driving...showering etc...and I tend to sing the song much the same as this guy does....mostly under my breath....half singing half humming....to sing the song properly, would require me to really belt it out, and I'm sure my coworkers or the homeowners would not enjoy that so much....and Dwight sings in a key that is above and beyond what I can do anyway....so even when I'm alone I tone the song down quite a bit.
