Lining up all my ducks in a row.

Trying to build my case. For some reason, the Christmas house clean up day has become the throw away all of my socks with holes in it day. This is the second year. Don't say annual. What my wife fails to understand is that it took all year to season the socks. Loose elastic, worn thin bottoms, purposeful holes for air conditioning. I think she has this nightmare of going over some friends house, we take off our shoes, and bammo, there's my third toe. It's not like that. There's nothing like slipping a pair of these babys on an hour or so after you wake up on a cold morning. Does anybody agree with their new best friend?

I don't understand why your ducks are wearing socks.

Some socks have a nice worn-in-the-right-places feel. Not crazy about holes though. My toes get stuck and feel uncomfortable.

BTW, green with envy that you have enough ducks to put them in a row. How many ducks do I have? Zero, zilch.

Duck tape should probably help in the row keeping..

Don't socks naturally get lost in the dryer?

headache
"Lining up all my ducks in a row" is an expression used like "building my case." I see the peanut gallery is busy.

I have to agree with you Alex, I personally have my very own pair of socks...well, maybe three or four pair that are all warm, fuzzy, elastic out of the tops fall around my ankle kind, thermal of course with holes in them.

I don't dare throw them away, they are my favorites, the new thermal socks don't wear like those...lol

I wear them for house shoes......

one pair did escape
It is my sad duty to inform all of you that the hole-sock clan has been destroyed. Thank you makesmeshiver for your support. On the contrary to your name, my new socks will makesmesweat. Corny, but, it made me laugh.

Well, as I sit here and type this in my holy socks, I must say that I feel for your sweaty toes......my suggestion to you is to find a patch of rough concrete swiftly and make use of those new socks to get them broke in properly.

It shouldn't take long for you to get a snag.......
