ya handsome cowboy philosopher anarchist antichrist...

It is a high crime that there's only one of ya.

Glad we got ya, and happy that Diane is the formal caretaker of our esteemed, highest valued property.

Love ya.

Save me and Don Corleone some champagne...

Happy birthday, sweetheart!

Happy Birthday to one of my very favorite tall, skinny cowboys.

May you and Diane celebrate many more together.

Much love,

Eva

Oh, how embarrassing! I put this in childcare and parenting? Freudian slip or just slip. At my age, it must be nothing more than a rather senile slip. I'm older that Dys, you know.

Ticomaya, thanks for posting. It's nice knowing that even those we heartily disagree with will still attend a party for one for whom they've often felt animosity. Welcome!! I'll be bringing out a tray of goodies, so stay and enjoy yourself.

Calamity Jane, there must be a sign like that around somewhere. We really need one around here. It looks like it was make just for Dys!

Osso has the cake taken care of, so I"ll get busy with dips filled with chilies from our yard and lots of chips. Some Pacifico beer, Dos Equis, Fat Tire, and whatever else you would like.

Someone said there's a party in Parenting and Childcare....

Fortunately I just made a big batch of fresh guacamole. Dos Equis sounds great, Diane.

Oh, and have a wonderful birthday, Cowboy!

I guess this means we can be childlike, which is important for adults to remember. Childishness is something else entirely, but a sense of fun, the ability to be childlike is a sure sign of a fun, interesting person, imo.

Guacamole is my favorite. Get over here, quick!

Wishing you a good one, Dys. Good day, good year.

Is somebody gonna put candles on something for you? I hope so, and I hope your birthday wish comes true.

Happy birthday, Bob!

I'll drink to your health and wish I could be there with Diane and you.

And here's a song for you:

Zum Geburtstag viel Glück, zum Geburtstag viel Glück, zum Geburtstag, lieber Bob, zum Geburtstag viel Glück!

Hmmmm, Urs, that seems as if it would go perfectly with the tune for Happy Birthday to You. I would hate to try singing after having a little too much to drink.

Thanks to all who have posted. I means more than Bob will ever admit and it means the world to me.

So is the birthday boy going to put in an appearance on this thread? Or is he too busy hanging out in the garage smoking.

Haul your skinny ass here, Mr. Lexia.

That's right, Diane. It's the German version and now sing it! Laughing
