Bunny, you make me smile.

What did I do in 2007 that made me happy/proud?

1. Left an unsatisfying 20 yr relationship (with a perfectly lovely but totally unsuitableman-for-me man) in an amicable fashion

2. Went through more spiritual growth (it's an un-ending process)

3. Changed a lot of my thinking and outlooks; did a bit of prioritizing

4. Moved, volunteered more, and began a relearning process

5. Set some (much-needed) boundaries with some family members

6. Met some A2Kers that I was delighted to meet; making plans to meet more

7. Am learning to live out of a suitcase (or duffel bag, in my case) and alone (which turns out to be a big plus Very Happy )

8. Still find it within myself to give (and that's a good thing)

I can't equal Mame's accomplishments, but I've made some small changes in my life and I've started waking up in the morning with a bit of hope that there will be more in the day than dreary duty.

What have I achieved in the past year?
It wasn't an easy year & I didn't really achieve anything really major. My proudest achievement was to become stronger (than I ever thought I could be) in the face of quite a bit of on-going adversity. A lot of which I have neither the ability nor the power to change. I've learned a lot about standing on my own two feet this year.

I detect subtle hints at sarcasm and have the gut-wrenching feeling that you do not bask in my joy, dlowan.

But.... such is life.

What kind are they? Are they new, used tires? Winter tires? All season radials? Did you put them on yet and get them balanced? Don't forget to rotate 'em.

Didn't you just buy some used auto parts, too? God, you must be in heaven.

Sounds a major achievement year, Msolga. I think often the biggest stuff occurs internally, and does not result so much in big and obvious "trophy" achievements, but in highly significant but subtle alterations in the manner in which we deal with our internal and external landscapes.

On ya!!!!!!

I have basked so deeply in your joy, Gus, that my nose is peeling.

I am shocked and saddened that you could doubt me.
