I don't think that just Christmas is the time to give. I give all year (non-paid).

1) There is a charity I give money to on a monthly basis
2) I do certain people's tax returns during tax season
3) I am part of a non-profit organization and I do a lot of hands on work there
4) There are some homeless people that I know where they live outside so, I check on them and give them help (blankets, coats etc) when needed
5) I help my sister at her kennel
6) Sometimes during the summer when I am mowing my lawn, I will mow the neighbor's too

That is just the beginning......

I give everyday too. That is great you do the things you do. Because of you, the world is a better place.

The best sort of giving is to remain anonymous, not brag about it to others.

Do good by stealth. Downright Biblical.

What is wrong with saying what one does. I don't see it as bragging. In fact it may give other's ideas of things they can do to help others.

Example of something else I do- I take in my neighbors UPS packages since they work and I know the cute UPS guy. Some people may think that is trivial, until they get their package stolen from the front of their house.
