That Growling Sax

Reply Tue 18 Dec, 2007 02:44 pm
I'm looking for sax guys that were big in the 50s and 60s, and it would really be cool if somebody around here could point me to any songs that might feature some real moody, hot, sexy saxophone. Can anyone help me out?

P.S. NO KENNY G ALLOWED

Thanks.

This is the kind of music I've been looking for the past few days. It has that growl and swing that I think should work out just right. Anyone know anymore guys like this? King Curtis maybe?
