ok that's it, the next time Ian is here on a visit he is NOT driving my Porsche. I do not have uninsured coverage. Now that i think about it, Lash, on her visit her in Dec plans to drive the Porsche, I'm rethinking.

yes, In spite of my apprenshions. I offered the guest room and a bottle of cheap wine (no long necked bud) she seems non-plussed so far.

Any video cameras in the area or the direction the truck came from? You have the time of the accident so could review the tapes from around that time.

I guess the insurance company would do that anyway.

I never thought of that. These days they have web cams/cameras set up all over the place, but usually only in cities.
If they can take from the direction they were coming from, maybe they can check cameras in that area.

Relieved to hear that Ian is OK, shewolf.
And that things are not quite as bad as you'd originally thought.

Glad to hear that Ian wasn't seriously injured. It still amazes me that people can be so uncaring that they don't even bother to stop and see if the person they hit is okay. All they care about is themself......sad actually Sad

Sweety...you need to get that insurance. As i was telling the screaming couple in the back seat a couple of months ago---I can drive just fine...I just can't see....

No long necks? Well, I've sort of graduated to Belgian beer with JD chasers anyhoo...I'm sure we'll find something....Oatmeal Stout? Last night, my daughter tried on some Maker's Mark for the first time. Wouldn't have any of that in the garage, would ya?

<giggling>

Hey. Love ya, Cowboy.

Can't wait to kiss the 'Turkians. Hope osso will come by.

IT'S NOT TOTALED!!!

Very Happy

but it is 2000.00 in repair.. give or take.

AND! here is the best part.

The police report came in time so that we can file under uninsured motorists which is a 250.00 deductable instead of the 1000.00 that regular insurance carries.

Weeeeeeeeeeeee

that 1000.00 is coming down.

Yeah, it saves money monthly, but it doesnt add up enough to justify a 1000.00 hit if something ever happens.

I had it happen and that is why I drove a scurrilous chevy citation, my late father in law's car, until I got my dear present volvo. Nothing at all like driving a citation for multiplying any smidgeons of low self esteem in one's psyche: what a....., oh, never mind.
