Ah. It's the annual NYT-book-must-have Industrial Complex.
I'm not spending the $25.99 for the first editions, or whatever new books cost these days. I'll wait till they come out in paperback and are in the 25 cents bin at the public library.
I just wait for the movie.
Or, failing that, the video game.
I've liked Roberto Bolano stories recently in the NY'er; haven't read the book (or the others either).
