This album is crap.
Puscifer is Maynard's new side project. Considering he's one of the top vocalists in rock, pretty disappointing that he doesn't even sing on this one, just whispers and chants over mellow trance/electronic/tribal beats of horsesh!t.
I really wonder if Maynard put this out thinking, "I'm Maynard. I can put out an album that is a total joke, and my retarded minions of fans will still buy it." Well I bought it, listened to it once, which was also the last time.
Don't bother with it. Rating: sucks Eric Cartman's balls.
The singer for Tool and A Perfect Circle. He's a very talented guy, but this album is awful. It's not even an official group, but a collaboration.
I don't know Maynard from Adam's off ox, but Pucifer was a feline character in a Fredrick Pohl novel. Matter of fact, my missing Barney started off with the same name, but it soon appeared inappropriate.

Is it even worth the effort jacking it from soulseek?
Maybe. It might be ok background music. Not something I'll ever be pumping in my car though. At least know that it's nothing like Tool or APC.
