I spend most of my time out of the country (US) and depend on foreign ATMs for cash. My customary bank charged $1 per transaction for quite a while but has now added to that an "international transaction" fee of one percent. I don´t like where this is going. Anyone know of a US bank that charges nothing or next to nothing for foreign ATM use?
No answer.
At least two of my credit cards also charge some kind of foreign currency exchange fee when I order from outside the US. I'm not liking it either.
