Meet hamster 653, one of the many filing clerks at A2K.

Hamster 653 rushing from task to task accurately filing all the new posts written at A2K. Day or night, twenty-four hours a day Hamster 653 keeps the organization flowing at A2K. Doesn't he ever get to sleep?

Hamster 653 on sentry duty watching for hackers and spammers at A2K.

Hamster 653 flails his arms and screeches "Geeeeezus, you people SURE like to talk a lot!"

Hamster 653 seems to be losing it after a stressful day at the office. He deserves a vacation!

Hamster 653 napping at a San Diego spa for hamsters.

Hamster 653 enjoying a day of rest on the green.

Meanwhile, back at A2K hamsters 654 through 725 are hard at work filling in for the vacationing 653.

Thanks all you hamsters!

manoman, if i try to start another new topic Rolling Eyes
i clearly haven't quite mastered the set-up yet

I think Marlene is a good name for a hamster. Not a sacrificial virgin type of hamster. More of a librarian type of hamster.

HAMSTER HUNTING
They're everywhere! The place is crawling with them!
What do they eat? Do they have names? What are they plotting? Do they play sports? Can anybody give me a plausible theory (that does not involve UFO's please) or find more of these skittish little beggars?

Butter - Have you experimented with dwarf hamsters, or are their legs too short for carrying lumps of code around?

Someone else beat me to it. Wink

This one carries genetic code and from the looks of him, he could stand to grow a few more inches on his legs.

I understand that there are now hamsters guarding every entrance to a2k, and that these very beasts are equiped with metal detectors, cattle prods, and ak47s!
My recent assualt on a2k headquarters to regain my accustomed place alongside the aristicracy of the internet, was repelled continuously, by these little savages, in spite of my obtaining invaluable assistance from a few outstandingly brave fellow members.
It was a virtual blood bath, but we prevailed; and it was music to our eyes to read the news from hamster 34563, that the ringleader, hamster 79544 had been -

- succesfully deleted! Twisted Evil

if any of the hamsters are in the U.S. north-east, there will be no a/c for them. <<sigh>> poor little buggers.
