I know that none of those socks is ours, boomer. I am absolutely positive.
At my house, socks dissolve into lint. That's where it comes from. Has to be. Socks disappear and the lint filter is full...it's obvious.
I have some socks that are labeled L for Left and R for Right. They are made by the Right Sock Company. So even though they are all Right Socks, some of them are Left. Some of them get left by my desk. Some of them disappear.
The first morning I wore a pair, I didn't like the way they felt at all. When I finished my run and got to the gym I found out that I had the wrong sock on my right, it was the Left and the Right Sock which was Right was left on my left.

I pulled the dryer out last night to clean. Everyone should do this more often. It was a fire hazard and treasure trove.
