Printable digests of news from foreign countries

Hello.

I have a friend who is a ship's chaplain. He has someone emailing him a daily Filipino Balita newspaper digest, which is a word document of 4ish pages he can print off and give out to Filipino workers on ships so they can see what's up in their home country. This is excellent.

Anyone know of a website that could provide similar summaries of events in other countries around the world? If it could be set up to send summaries by email regularly that would be even better.

Or if you know of online newspapers that are easily printed that's good too.
