My ISP finally forced me to change to use new, more secure settings for SMTP and POP e-mail. The problem is, OE lost its mind and is now redownloading a copy of every e-mail I ever left a copy of online. This is approximately 3000 e-mails and it is duplicating them in my OE inbox....
WTH?
Can anyone tell me how to simply remove all the duplicates easily once the downloading is all done? I'm at a loss here...
I recall this happening when I upgraded my ISP service.
Dang, I can't remember what 'sort' I used to make the deleting of dups faster. I know I had 3 sets of stuff before I figured it out properly
Where are the techno-wizards?
Unfortunately Timber is gone and I'm supposed to be a wizard (at least at some things). Argh!
You can download a duplicate removal program from the internet. Just do a search on dulicate e-mails to find one best suited for you.
