my roommate has all the chuck palahniuk books and i really wanted to start reading them. I heard he is such a great author.
so 2 questions:
What book do u think i should read first????
And what order would you recommend me reading them in?
Well, the really popular one is Fight Club, right?
After Fight Club, my son red Choke. Passed it on to sister and she liked it, too.
I'm not crazy about any of them...
yeah fight club is pretty popular. and i heard choke is great....i think that is what im going to read first
Good choice.
I read Choke first. Chuck is over the edge.
I liked "Lullabye" the best.
Really I liked all of them except the one about the people living in the old theater. I expect a bit of "ick" Palahniuk's books but that book went a bit too far.
just to let everyone know i just started reading Lullaby
and so far is pretty good....
Don't pass up Fight Club if you like his style. The movie is garbage compared to the book in my opinion. I like Ed Norton a lot but they make his Narrator character a whiny little punk in the movie compared to the book.
Invisible Monsters is pretty twisted too. I still have yet to read Lullaby but I'll get around to it one of these days.
I've also read "Stranger than Fiction" - pretty good read. Lots of short, nonfiction stories of the bizarre and true.
finished reading Lullaby... I liked it a lot, at the end of the book I just could not stop reading.
Choke is next on my list.
Oh and have your heard about his upcoming novel "Snuff". Whats that going to be about? Anyone hear any info on it?
