No dearest.

He suggests we should become eternally high with merriment as we laugh at the gibberish posted by ourselves and other "left wingers", rather than ignore (as he believes we must be doing, or says that he thus believes) such a rich mine of humour.

It appears, in his own special way, that he wishes us greater happiness than he supposes us to enjoy at present.

What a guy
Makes you cry....

cjhsa thinks everyone that disagrees with him is a "left winger." while he might think that helps his case, if people renamed the democratic party "the party of people that disagree with cjhsa," it would probably win them the next 10 elections.

after all, it would finally bring most of the country together.

What I don't understand is how a party that sells itself out to the lowest common denominator has so much trouble winning the presidency. I suspect it has something to do wth the stupidity of the D-voters creeping into their candidates.

you're beginning with the premise that it's we who are the lowest common denominator... we'd have to disagree. when we do- ironically, your point becomes not only valid but a good explanation of what happened in the 2008 election. and thank you for mentioning it.

tiny weeny - go ask Jesse Jerkson and Al NotsoSharpton - I'm sure they'll agree with you. My critics are soulless sellouts.

ah, as much as i'm enjoying it, there seems to be no one else left in the thread and it would be more like spamming, maybe too much.

thus, see ya around cjhsa, try to find a group of people that you DON'T hate, and i presume we'll continue our amusing exchange the next time there's something to talk about- or prior to that, whenever a similar whim strikes you in another thread.

You call it 'tasteful.'

A2K's right-wing reactionaries call it 'porno.' They're getting all excited.

actually, the first version of my reply went: "you get off to that, don't you?" but i edited it before i typed it. but no one "got off" because of that image more than george w. bush. best thing that ever happened to him in his entire life.

Let's recap...
On 9/11 a bunch of Saudi Nationals, under the direction of Bin Laden, fly planes into the twin towers, the pentagon, and one was crashed in a field. Death toll.... huge... of not just American citizens and property but citizens of many other countries. Huge damage to infrastructure, huge expense to repair, more to come to replace, health blowback that we cannot yet even measure.

Our president and vice president are whisked away and hide out a little.
Then they correctly invade Afghanistan to destroy Al Queida, The Taliban, and their leader Bin Laden. At this point we have more goodwill and sympathy from the world than we may have had in our history.

We bomb the **** out of Afghanistan, push back the Taliban and put Bin Laden on the run. Hooray for us.

We (meaning those asses in the bush administration whose asses cj kisses) then decide to abandon this mission before it reaches completion to start an ill advised, poorly planned and shittily implented pre emptive war in Iraq... taking the focus off the people who actually attacked America. This preemptive war completely reverses the policy of the United States SINCE DAY ONE!!!

Saddam is captured and executed... cj joins others and the bush cartel in a giant circle jerk of blood lust.

5 years later... more needless injuries, deaths, infrastructure destruction, uncountable waste of economic resources, suffering of domestic programs, largest deficit EVER.... loss of respect, sympathy and goodwill from every corner of the globe... and Bin Laden still at large, no end in sight to extricate us from Iraq, a president who is stalling in order to pass the problem on to the next administration and avoid all accountability... Bin Laden STILL at large.... Taliban back in business stronger than before and this time HELPING produce heroin for export, and bush should be on a poster with a towel on his head saying "Uncle George Wants You
For The Taliban And Al Queida" because he and his actions have been their most effective, beyond their wildest hopes and dreams , recruitment tool, Bin Laden STILL at large, the Unitd States underfunding and largely ignoring most of our domestic issues, and a nation of politicians and citizens so polarized, angry and hateful, so much infighting, that Satan has not been so happy since Hitler wore his first pair of jew driving gloves.

Tell me cj you kool aid drinking faux bad ass... do you really think we need you posting your idiot comic book images and slogans to remind us of that?

Let's not forget torture, "eavesdropping," and the INS' abandonment of due process.

But who cares about the 5th ammendment? It's only the second one that matters. "Please don't take away my gun, with which I protect my family from vicious, bloodthirsty...um, deer."

NICE. i would love to steal that.

respectfully garg, i think you meant the 4th, involving lawful search and seizure, also implying a constituional right to privacy. (just as the 1st implies separation of church and state.)

of course, if there's no habeus corpus, the 5th amendment is pretty much buggered along with that. and of course, the 5th probably also relies on client-attorney confidentiality, another thing that is gone.

"The Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution says: 'No person shall be ... deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law .... '"

From wikipedia. And really any other source concerning the Constitution.
