Waging Peace: The Art of War for the Antiwar Movement
by Scott Ritter
Book Description: Scott Ritter, former Marine and UN weapons inspector, argues that there is a growing despondency amongst the anti-war movement. Ritter proposes the anti-war movement seek guidance from sources they normally spurn ?- that one must study the "enemy" in order to learn the art of campaigning and of waging battles when necessary. They need to understand the pro-war movement's decision-making cycle, then undertake a comprehensive course of action.

I have great admiration for Scott Ritter. He's one of the few who got it right about the Iraq War. I watched the 9/3/07 C-SPAN interview of Scott Ritter and his passionate presentation of his latest book. He takes the Anti-War Movement to task for its failures and offers a plan to correct their mistakes.
Naturally, the Establishment makes fun of Ritter and his book---just as they've always done while ignoring his warnings about going to war in Iraq.
I'll have to look into this book. I didn't even know about it. Thanks bee
There has to be a rallying point before the public (and anti-war movement) can get their act together, re Bush's war. Something more personal, such as a draft.
