Yup. You guessed it. Mr Wolf's fathers guitar.

ehh..

anywho

1981 celebrity ovation.
At least.. according to ovations website, the serial number indicates it was made in 81

Now, I see alot that are similar to this body style, but this one has 2 things diffrent from the more common Celebritys from that year.

First, the open head

second - it has 2 knobs on the side.

Others have only one and a closed head.

After 4 days of searching, I have to ask for help. Im not quite sure what we have here..

Would you provide the serial number?

Are you sure it is US-made?

The Japanese made ones spontaneously combust when Ted Nugent comes within 20 feet of them.

You might try Guitar Center; they might know or know someone who would know.

The North one closed, but the South one is still open, I think.

the 1763 one you posted is very close, except for the fact that mine has the two knobs on the side and not just one like in the picture.

I have seen that one and that is the only one I can find that looks some what like the one I have.

Slot head?
never heard of that... but then again.. I dont play guitar so .. eh.. not surprised.

I will try that forum. Thanks for that. Smile
