That's interesting! But I didn't mean that the letters should be flipped. I just meant that those two letters, G and J, present interesting opportunities together.

Like, this:

C

is "facing" right, to me.

(Sorry to be so obscure.)

How are you doing that, littlek?

I'm using photo studio - came with my scanner I think.

The second one is reversed, that's how I read Soz's description the first time around.

Roger - go it!

Unfortunately I can't do cursive with this program.

Gautam - that was the one you and Cav were talking about at the start of this thread, yes?

Those little bars used on some typefaces to add stability and completeness. Maybe I didn't spell it right, but they make the difference between typefaces like Helvitica (sans serif) and Times (serif).

A2k is using a sans serif, btw.

How fun! No middle initial though, huh? (You was robbed at birth!)

I like Little K's first try. The letters just flow into each other.

Try this if you can... go into create mail in Outlook Express and type GJ in Baskerville Old Style 24. The J is longer than the G and sort of dips down below the G, partly encircling it. I like that, though I'd like to see the letters be a little fancier.

Sozobe is right, those two letters do good things together.

If you paint brush it, can you digi picture it? Or scan a photo? You can then upload to my site if you want and link to there. When did all these things become verbs to me? Weird.

Here be littlek's idea with the only font even remotely close to cursive on my home computer

http://www.waggery.com/m/misc/gj.gif

I think roger's right about it looking good with a serif or line thingie on the j.
