I AM NOT SURE IF THIS IS RIGHT PLACE TO POST.
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET PERMISSION TO WORK (I AM SEVERLY DISABLED).
They(social security) are making it very difficult for me.
Ideally, Anyone who wants to work needs a sponsor to subsidize(sp) them BECAUSE OFTHE DISCENTIVES.
I reckon that wih no incentive to work, the system will collapse in 50 years time.
ONLY THE DISABLED WILL THEN RECEIVE BENEFITS.
I don't know much about the UK disability laws.
Here in the States there are limits set for the amount a disabled person can earn and still collect benefits.
The "sponsor" is called a "job coach".
Have you thought of some sort of volunteer work? For example, picking up trash isn't glamorous, but after several months of picking up trash you will have established your reliability.
I HAVE RECEIVED PERMISSION TO WORK FROM SOCIAL SECURITY!
YESTERDAY I RECEIVE A TELEPHONE CALL TELLING ME I HAD PERMISSION TO WORK!
I HOPE I CAN DO THE WORK I SUGGESTED I CAN DO.
Badboy--
Congratulations!
Good luck in your job hunting.
I AM TRYING TO DO MY OWN THING.
I WILL SEE HOW IT GOES.
Badboy--
I wish you all the best. Hold your dominion.
