Ah yes, Chinese New Year approaches and The Lovely Bride (a Dragon)
is in a cleaning frenzy. Her loving husband (a Rooster) is finding excuses
to work late.

The "Old Year" banquet was last week at Mandarin Reading. Preceded
by plentiful wrangling over place, time, who can't make it, why not, and
the like. The Lovely Bride declares she is never going to be the one to
organize this again. As she did last year. As she will next year.

The little red envelopes are ready for the young'uns. There's a bowl of
oranges on the table. My red shirt (gotta wear some red for good luck) is
cleaned pressed and ready for the New Year Banquet.

Gung Hay Fat Choy!
