That's an interesting choice, Rockhead.

I can think of a million break up songs and a lot of songs about men being mean to women but I can't really think of one about guys beating up girls so I'm thinking it qualifies.

Oh wow. I haven't head "Brick" in ages.

I remember the first time I heard it -- I thought it was the saddest song I'd ever heard. Abortion songs are not big sellers.

I had not heard that "Instanbul" song before. It cheered me back up.

I chose this because it meets boomer's criteria ... subjects songs are not usually written about. In this case, a brand new set of roller skates.

However, I strongly urge you not to listen to the actual song, because it will drive you up the wall, drive you nuts. It's awful. You have been warned!
