Did you notice how women are always crying on weddings? I consider this decisive evidence that marriage is inherently abusive. Your daughters need to see this movie as a cautionary tale.

I actually felt pity for every man in the wedding party. And the conservatives are worried that gay weddings will destroy marriage? I think something like this could do far more damage.

Did they get married at an airport lounge?
At the beginning when they walk towards the "Hello Kitty booth"
it looks like the airport.

These are Japanese Good Luck Money Cat Banks which date back to the 16th century. In this context, a wedding, they will bring wealth and happiness to the couple. If you look at the video again you will see that the cats have slots on the tops of their heads.

Quite common in Asian societies.

Poke their eyes out? Japanese weddings can be weird, but that's one of the weirder. Do the Japanese have 'women' I seem to meet a few japanese 'girls' (of 3 or 4 decades of life) but not any women. Yet. Sorry, that's not meant to be as patronising as it sounds - it's just this approach they have to social situations that makes you feel they could break out giggling or cooing at any moment.

I know what you are thinking of Sglass, but these cats are from the Hello Kitty line of toys. Anyone with a little girl has been exposed (and over exposed ) to their cuteness. Hello Kitty might have come from an earlier tradition, but trust me - this bride is a Hello Kitty Gal.
