Twenty-five years in the military took me all over the world. I grew up in one the remotest locations in the lower 48 States and could literally walk out my back door to get away from it all. Melted snow filled the streams and you could watch the trout swim 20 feet below the surface. Serenity was an everyday occurence ... now why did I leave?
