They say the hair is a person's crowning glory, and those words could never be truer especially for women. However, hair can grow not just on one's head but on other parts of the body, too. Sometimes, the hair growth becomes so unsightly, that people try to get rid of it through extreme measures.

Nevertheless, trying to prevent body hair from growing back may be difficult especially if you don't have an idea what you should be doing in the first place. Take the example of facial hair, for instance. These days, it's quite common to see people sporting varying degrees of facial hair styles.

Sometimes, though, growing facial hair could lead to ingrown hairs that result in unsightly bumps on your skin. Of course, you could resort to ingrown hair treatment to rid yourself of such, but you should only try it following the advice of your doctor.

While we're on the subject of facial hair styling, here are a few styles you might be curious about:

A. Beards Styles

Full Beard

Men with wide jaw lines and not so good skin texture can go for this style as it makes the jaw line look perfect and hides the bad skin as well.

Goatee

Goatee runs from the edge of the lower lip to the chin. Goatee is an ideal option for people with an elongated chin.

Soul Patch

Soul patch is small area below the lower lip that do not really reach the chin. This facial hair style is very easy to maintain and hence a popular choice for many. Chin Curtain. In this style hair growth on chin area further meets the sideburns forming a curtain of hair. This is a good style for men with oval shape face.

B. Mustache Styles

Chevron

Chevron is one of the common and classic mustache styles for men. So a guy who wants to look mature and impress the girls around can go for this facial style. Dali. In this style a narrow mustache with long points is curved steeply upwards. Men with square shaped face are ideal for this kind of mustache style. Fu Manchu. In this mustache the whiskers are grown very long, even below the chin.

Horseshoe

This style involves full mustache with vertical extensions from lips to the jawline that resembles an upside down horseshoe.

C. Sideburns Styles

Stretched Sideburns

If you are bored with regular sideburns then you can have a new look without taking much effort. Just let the sideburns grow a little extra, say till the earlobes.

Square Sideburns
It involves growing stretched sideburns a little wide, and shaping them in squares or rectangles.

Tapered Sideburns

Those who long for a rugged hunk look can go for tapered sideburns. In this facial style the half part of the sideburns which is close to the ears is grown vertical and the later part is tapered to resemble 'L' shape.

Notice that no outright hair care tips were provided. That's because facial hair could be managed, if you know what you need to do. Hence, make sure to ask your stylist for advice on proper facial hair care and maintenance so you will always look your best.
