You know lovejoy, I was thinking just yesterday that I felt like I was in Britan. My neighbor's from England, he must be right at home.

Last week, there was talk that the weather was supposed to clear up, so I specifically took off today and Tuesday to dig trenches in my front lawn. No reason, just felt like digging trenches.

Saturday I had my shoes sucked off half a dozen times from the wet clay, otherwise walked around with 10 pounds of the stuff stuck on each sneaker.

Sunday, it dried somewhat, so I had a small window of opportunity before the clay became as hard as a preachers d!ck at a double shot gun wedding.

Sunday evening, it rained about half an hour, so it's back to being a tar pit.

I said screw it, and ate waffles.

Your home is your castle, but making a moat is carrying it a bit far.
