the BIG LOONIE near sault st. marie , ontario
(canadians would never call it "a dollar coin" - it's always a "loonie" because of the engraving of a loon !
and a two dollar coin is always a "TOONIE" - even though it depicts a polar-bear - there are no one or two dollar paper bills in circulation in canada any more).
as you can see , those coins are big , requiring canadians to extra deep pockets in their pants .
(canadians have deep pockets but short arms Laughing )

and in WAWA - northern ontario , we have a good-sized statue of a canada goose - just try to picture the goose poop it would leave behind if alive Shocked

and in COBOURG - ontario we have the BIG APPLE , advertising a restaurant that is a popular stopover between toronto and kingston , known for baking thousands of pies every year .
