Shopping with my girlfriend

Do any of you guys get dragged out shopping by your girlfriend? How do you like it? My gf and I went to Lord and Taylor this weekend (which I didn't know had such a great men's department) and did a little shopping. I got a few dress shirts and some nice pants for work. I love it because I she's honest and tells me what looks good and what doesn't. I'm not a big fan of looking for clothes, so I leave that part up to her, and at the end of the day, all I have to do is pay for it. It's like having a personal shopper Very Happy

Anyone else feel the same?

No way. We both despise shopping so it ain't gonna happen. I go shopping by myself on my time and she shops by herself on her time. I'd guess that between the two of use we've spent less than 5 minutes in any mall in the last 6 months.

My husband is like that. Believe it or not, he is great to shop with - he will help me pick out stuff and I model for him. He also is honest about what looks good on me.

It's great.

Exactly! I'm not saying I'm a fan of shopping, but if I want to do it right, its great to bring the girl along. Lord and Taylor had a great golfing apparel section and I was able to get a few golf shirts (its getting to be golf season again!) that she picked out. Better than I would have done on my own!

Thats why God created catalogues. We dont have any really good Department Stores anymore (other than Cabellas, Bass Pro, Home Depot and Staples) All the rest that sell clothes are pretty much **** stores. We do have a local one called Boscov's, but that's very close to **** its not worth a 35 mile drive . You can buy a dress suit at Cabelas, (course itll be camo)

What do you mean there are no good department stores for clothes? I'm not a big shopper and even I know of a few! So is Boscov the only play you buy stuff from?

Perhaps in the next life? Perhaps not. Hardware is forever.

Me too.

Want to split the cost?

One of the few things I liked about Catholic school was the fact that you never had to figure out what to wear.

Except for the shoes (shakes head) Apparantly I never got them right.

I hate being rushed. I hate being run through the store. I hate loud sighing. I hate not being able to try on the same thing in 3 colors. I hate being the one to claim him while he's wandering aimlessly amid racks of women's clothes looking completely pathetic and in chains.

So I don't take my husband.

Whoa. Has my Hubby found this website? Shocked "southerngentleman" sounds just like him.

Hubby won't shop for clothes without me. I have all the design sense, he has all the mechanical ability. He doesn't pick out his clothes, I don't try to fix my car. Even when he travels, he makes me pick out his clothes before he packs and I have to put each outfit on one hanger so he can't mix them up.

I NEVER take him shopping when I'm buying clothes for myself. He truly has no opinion.

But that's okay. He never makes me go to the hardware store. Laughing

Complementary skills. It works for us.
