It looks amusing in retrospect, the day after.
Have you ever been to one of those masked balls where people dress up in baroque costumes and masks, and there's only candle light, and because you wear an oversized hat with feathers on top and a mask it's already hard to see in the first place, and then you concentrate all the time on not tripping with these weird shoes with the buckles on top of them and on not dipping your awfully long mask nose into the wine while sipping instead of concentrating on the fact that you had already two bottles of the stuff on top of the champagne and the weird drinks in the tiny glasses that the waiters with the wigs and that strange livery kept on handing to you?
