4) the frenchman takes the opportunity to meet a lady
5) the american collects body-parts for the sausage factory in chicago
6) the russian sets of a bomb he happens to carry in his pocket

no surprise that wars would be started using any pretext !

derailment in france 0ctober 2006

we had a major freight-train derailment almost on our frontsteps - about a mile away .
luckily noone was killed or injured but the major canadian east-west trainline was close for over 24 hours .
i wanted to take some pictures myself but the whole area was closed off and i could not get near it - so pix from newspaper will have to do .
