It's a 12 mile ride on my bike and it's so nice out today.... hopefully a minimum amount of people will roll their car windows down, call me an azzhole and tell me to get the hell off the road....

Honey, they aren't yelling that because you're slowing them down, they're yelling that because the women in the car are commenting on how hot your ass looks in those bike shorts.

I'm proud of you for taking good care of yourself.

I really mean that.

So, Raleigh is not way up on the list of bike friendly cities?

actually roger I googled and Carrboro and Cary are bronze mentions.... Carrboro at the outside fringe of the Triangle and Cary part of Greater Raleigh.... but I live in N. Raleigh...about 20 + miles on the other side of Cary....

It might interest you to know that I am one of the top 10 cyclists in the world who will fire back at a rude driver and tell them to kiss my ass Laughing

I had heard of aero bars, of course, and have an aero bar computer mount just to mount a headlight on quill (handle bar clutter), but this is the first time I've ever seen anyone use them. More power to them, I say.

I'd fire back too, bear, but I never ride and pack at the same time. It's just so gosh darn embarassing when you piece falls on the pavement, if you know what I mean. Farmington drivers are really polite to cyclists. When they're awake, I mean. And sober. And paying attention. And not blabbing on the cell phone.
