I love daylight savings time... more time on my bike, more time on the lake.... more time to find tasty seals to eat..... what's not to like?

When I was little, it would make me cry, I'd be all antsy waiting for the sun to finally go down.

More hours with the stupid hot sun.

When the time goes back, it's so peaceful, the day ends when it's supposed to.

I like DST. In summer you can sleep in and not miss the day. Doesn't get dark up here until almost 11PM some days - like July 4.

I absolutely hate coming home from work and having it be dark. You cannot do anything outside. Being stuck inside sucks!

I generally like it. I love leaving work and actually seeing the sun!

On the negative side, I put my little one to bed last night and she claimed it was still day time (not pitch black outside like normal).

I don't mind it getting dark earlier in the evening. It's waking up in the dark that I can't stand. Starts the day out all wrong.

I love the sun, and I love summer. I can't wait for those hazy hot dog days of summer, sunning myself on my favorite rock in central park like a lizard.

So no, I don't hate DST. I like it. The more sun the better.

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darlin' it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darlin' it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darlin' the smiles returning to their faces
Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

The sun's nice once it finally arrives.

Too bad I'm already at my desk then.

I want the sun back for my walk to the subway in the morning.

Bahhhhhhhhh humbugggghhhhhhh.

I agree, it was just at the point when I could watch the sunrise over the lake with my morning coffee before work, now I am driving to work in the dark again.

I fought for every bit of early sunlight and now it has been snatched away from me.

It's dark in the morning for most kids going to school and parents, who work.

I don't think it saves much energy!
Cool

That's not a real disorder, is it? Come on, they just made that up so some drug company could sell a new happy pill.

Kicky--

Test yourself: www.cet.org

They also have a test for circadian rhythms, the Hawk and Owl metaphor.

I'm all about sun.

Sun YAY

Dark BOO

I wake up late enough that this time change means more sun. (As in, before DST: woke up when it was already sunny. After DST: wake up when it's already sunny.) (If it's more borderline now -- I'm waking up near sunup now.) I sympathize with those who were enjoying morning sun and had that snatched away. Myself, I LOVE that it's still light at 7:30 PM. Wow!
