I went to Slovenia for a crazy conference about Slovaks (among others). The fascinating title were communist leaders in Central Europe between 1948 and 1952.

That's a pity, 1953 was such a happening year. Boleslaw Piasecki built a dacha in the countryside for example. Antonin Novotny got 200 Czech crowns of raise. Farms in Krnca were finally colectivized. So captivating!
