Kakos is the ancient Greek word for "bad" and "evil." The etymology of kakos can be traced back to the Proto-Indo-European word kakka, "to defecate": Kakos means nothing nice or good. Kaka means, specifically, "bad or evil things" (for those who have a bit of Greek or Latin, kaka is an adjective in the neuter nominative plural).

There was a KAK on Abuzz. I believe the person who used that name came on a2k early on, using a different name, but didn't stay.
