The Grammys are irrelevant.

Here's the proof.

1. They gave the Dixie Chicks FIVE awards, including album of the year and record of the year.

2. Best new artist award went to Carrie Underwood.

Need I say more?

The Dixie Chicks do NOT kick ass. In my opinion, they are mediocrity personified.

I saw this really funny video once where they took those little teddy graham cookies and made a porn video.

The boy teddy grahams have their legs together and the girls have their apart.

at one point, a girl teddy graham was wearing this little teeny strap on and was "doing it" to the boys bum.

Then, in the money shot, I think they used vanilla pudding and had it splashed all over everything.

It was really good.

Everyone has different tastes. I think the Dixie Chicks are o-k, but certainly not worthy of all the awards they received.

Do you think they won so many as the music industry wanted to give Bush a slap in the face?

I suppose that's possible. It certainly is a lovely bonus.

Wolfmother, who by coincidence, just happen to be an Australian band (go figure) won the best hard rock performance flogging the arse off American bands Nine Inch Nails and Tool. Incidentally my darling daughter saw Tool live in OZ when they toured about 3 weeks ago and said they were shiite.

Wolfmother should have won the best/most hair award!

I've seen Wolfmother before. Loved 'em. I guess the Grammys got at least one award right.

I aspire to fool. I guess I must be a tool then. Or maybe I'm something else entirely, like a stool.

I don't bother watching them myself anymore. It's all top 40 stuff, that's a year old, that you're sick of hearing.

Who votes on that stuff anyways?

Boring.

Yeah, but unlike you, I didn't write multiple letters to the Taylor Hicks fan club asking him to do it for me.

By the way, how's that restraining order working out?

Ah, yes, my bad. My memory must be going. With Taylor Hicks it was the Rusty Trombone, wasn't it? Is Paula still into the Dirty Sanchez thing? I remember she loved that one.
