My b'day pressie

The lady Diane got me a new cane (so I can cruise the mall with her) She got it from the isle of Bali and it has a hand carved Raven head for a handle. It is far too beautiful to use but use it I will.

i was given a fancy walking-stick at the quebec winter-carnival some years ago .
it's a hollow cane and can be used to store "liquid refreshments' - very important when attending the quebec winter-carnival .

Enjoy the stick, Dys.

My father refused to use a cane. Said it would make him look old. (He was about 80 at the time.) I bought him a beautiful carved cane. Told him now he wouldn't look oldl; he'd look like Fred Astaire. He used it. Now I use it, and there's no resemblance whatever to Fred.

I won't say that a Raven-grip cane will give you distinction, but I'll bet that your new possession will be very useful if a mugger over-estimates your generosity.
