Depends entirely on where I am.

Some days it's $3.26 at McDonald's. Some days it's a $20 lunch with a client.

Well, when we used to shop at Costco, they had these food demonstrators all over the shop. Bet if you sampled each one, you'd have a free lunch.

i've been saying that for years.

see, we have these "lunch and learn" vendor seminars at my place.
everybody wants that free lunch.

i tell them, "but there's no such thing as a free lunch."

but they keep going.

Product reps come to us and give us "information" and food. If it's something besides pizza, you can usually hang back and nab the leftovers even without giving up any of your time or soul.

It's about a 15 minute wait, though, so I guess the cost is somebody's fame.

I had one free lunch, Friday before Christmas. Our temp wanted to give me a gift and so we went to Goodson's. He had some kind of cow meat and I had baked salmon. Most good.

I have had many a free lunch. It usually consists of me picking some wild mushrooms, herbs, fruits and nuts that I find all over my property. My dogs are very good at finding a free lunch, but I'm sure they are the only ones that would want it.

THE most expensive lunch!

One of the first dates my wife and i had was she invited me to lunch, then dragged me off for a matinee at her parents house. (They wern't home you disgusting creatures!)

I blame that lunch for a lifetime of costs.

What u just posted
disproves your subject allegation
that : " There is no such thing as a free lunch. "
U can t have it both ways.

Once I had lunch at a Friendly Ice Cream place,
and was aware of some little girls,
who looked about 11 or so,
avidly discussing shopping sprees for clothing
at the next table to mine.

As I left, I put about $100.oo for them on their table.
I 'm pretty sure that their lunch cost less than $50 each,
so thay made a profit, for their next shopping spree,
and their lunch was free.

Another time, I saw an elderly lady
at another Friendly Ice Cream place
at lunch time n I put a $100.oo bill next to her, as a surprize.

Another time, after I had lunch
at the American Museum of Natural History,
as I was leaving the restaurant area,
I saw 2 young boys having lunch there
and dropped a similar amount of cash
for them, as a surprize, on their table.

Risk a RASK*

Q.E.D.:
there R free lunches.
David
