Wish I had a picture of my Essa to put up here. She looks similiar to Shewolf's little 'un. Smooched in head, rounded. Actually, her skull is teeny tiny and her entire face fits into my palm with plenty of room left. Tiny faced girl.

But her eyes are yellow and she is unique.

Damn, where is my photo of CinQue (who arrived in my life along with my husband). She actually was stolen and I still miss her, twenty years later.

I think I know who did it, so I don't lose sleep, much, about the weirdos re black cats.

I think it was a guy who always used to pet her after sunday mass, St. Mark's church being a block away, and whom I/we never saw again, at least for two years, after she disappeared - whereas we'd seen him every sunday up til then.

One day I was lacing my running shoes and saw him and some associate walk by our house and I jogged after them for a mile or two, trying to not be conspicuous. I lost them about a mile away..

but if that guy took her, she was probably regarded well.
I'd prefer not to think of black cat stealers.

Osso, I wouldn't be surprised if you miss CinQue more than your husband, exept for a few odds and ends. And no, thinking about black cat stealers, especially at halloween, is not ever a pleasant thing.

Shewolf, sweetie, I'm pretty sure that your kitty is still with you. Roland is NOT your cat. Don't get your knickers in a knot, Chai tea isn't a cat stealer....I hope.
