and there was nothing to do but wrap the presents and wait for the day watching television but then I mnoticed there was stil 32.00 in my wallet, so apparently squinney has more shopping to do......
It is done. I was at the RiteAid store in my neighborhood last night and noticed they were consolidating the numerous aisles of holiday decorations and junk to just one aisle and filling the rest with New Year's and Valentine's Day junk.
Oh, far from over. You got any how many shopping hours are left if you shop wal-mart?
It is now officially done in Germany - 8 pm and the last stores are closing. So all that is left are gas stations...

Well, we are used to it, of course. A lot of people in Germany say that it is completely unnecessary for shops to stay open later then 7 pm or on a Sunday. People will not buy more because there is not more money. Of course not! But it adds to the quality of life...

There may not be more money but you can always put it on the credit card!

Hell, I don't give up that easily! I believe the shops are still open here today & I'm heading out there! Just in case I've over-looked something very important!
