This is not necessarily a "favorite member" thread. I am asking who you think is the most creative, or simply an exceptionally creative member. If there is a member whom you don't particularly like, but you think they are creative, i think honesty would compel you to acknowledge as much. Similarly, i don't think you should nominate someone just because you like that member, if you honestly think some other member is the most creative. Of course, if one of your favorite members is also the member you think is the most creative, say that.
I was torn on this topic, and had come down to two--the first was Gus, but he can sometimes be rather predictable.
So my choice is . . .
. . . Boomer.
Setanta, I don't care for popularity contests, nor competition, but I think that edgarblythe is creative, as are you when you are being gentle.
Lord Ellpus is very creative ...
... or if he's not, he leads a most fascinating life.
I am so unbelievably flattered by this that I can't even begin to express it.
Sunshine on a cloudy day.
Thank you, Setanta.
And to you, Letty, for pointing me over here.
I got sunshine . . .
On a cloudy day.
When it's cold outside . . .
I got the month of May.
Thanks, Boss--i free associate in snatches of song, and that's one of my favorite songs.
We all operate on different levels of creativity. I am torn between so many great posters that I cannot settle on just one. Sorry.
Normally, I try to avoid these types of threads for fear I'll leave someone out. But since you're only asking for one; that's pretty easy. Gus has blindsided me with something so off the wall witty more times than I can count. Who else would decide to go naked into the wilderness?
I know that one, dlowan.
and since boomer sees dead people, this one is by Elvis:
(Trad.)
You've got to walk that lonesome valley
Well you gotta go their by yourself
Well there ain't nobody else gonna go there for you
You gotta go there by yourself
Now mother walked that lonesome valley
Now mother walked, she walked it by herself
Well there ain't nobody else could ever walk it for her
She had to walk it, she had to walk it by herself
You've got to walk that lonesome valley
Well you gotta go by yourself
Well there ain't nobody else gonna go there for you
You gotta go there by yourself
Now father walked that lonesome valley
Now father walked it, he walked it by himself
Nobody else could walk it for him
Well he had to walk it, he had to walk it by himself
You've got to walk that lonesome valley
Well you gotta go by yourself
Well there ain't nobody else gonna go there for you
You gotta go there by yourself
Some folks say that John was a Baptist. Some folks say he was a Jew
but the Bible plainly tells us that he was a preacher, too.
You've got to walk that lonesome valley
Well you gotta go by yourself
Well there ain't nobody else gonna go there for you
You gotta go there by yourself
You've got to walk that lonesome valley
Well you gotta go by yourself
Well there ain't nobody else gonna go there for you
You gotta go there by yourself
