Sorry, but I can't access your image. But as to the topic: I switched to a lower stress job about three years ago. Now I work three days/week. I have to watch the pennies a lot more than I used to, but I have no regrets. None...

A lot of it depends on whether or not you love what you're doing....

On different days, at different times life switches between being a rat race to fun, or to a marathon, or vice-versa.

It all depends on who is pulling the strings that day I guess.

My working life is not a ratrace in that sense - but I DO feel I have reached a use-by date...I seem to have no immune system left, I am tired and have a sort of subliminal stressed-out feeling all the time, that flips into major eeeeek with little extra pressure - my paper work is literally years behind - and yet, in many ways I am at my most creative and accomplished.

I think I would love my job if there were not constant heavy pressure from waitung lists and crises with no resources to solve either.

I work with the best team imaginable - get lots of support - lots of recognition of my expertise.....'tis hard to think of a better job - and they do not make unstressful jobs in my field, so I have no idea what to do, except tie a knot in me tether, and keep going!
