Lord E--

We've both done some traveling in unseen realms this year. Thanks for the postcards.

Osso--

You're on my list as a charter member of the Valkyries--Mature Division.
Together we can do wonders at tidying battlefields.

Shewolf--

In another 30 years you can join the Valkyries--Mature Division. Meanwhile, you're earning your grey hair.

Chai--

Life is Grand--and you contribute to the grandure.

Sturgis--

Thanks--from one survivor to another.

Soz--

Blessed are the cheerleaders of the world for they shall see improvement.

Edgar--

I like our fan club--we're both articulate and modest.

BBB--

You're a woman with perspective.

Jes--

Thanks for the good wishes--and for keeping A2K a happy playground.

Littlek--

You're a woman on-the-grow.

Tai Chi--

Thanks for the kind wishes. You've got talent as a windmill tilter.

Kicky--

Articulate noir! Such a tribute!

Swimpy--

Civilization, 7. Barbarians, 6--and you're partly responsible.

Letty--

You're pure Southern comfort, honey. Pure Southern comfort.

CJ--

You have your priorities straight.

Realjohnboy--

Thank you for the kind words.

Djjd--

Thank you.

Mac--

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm now 66 and advancing towards my century mark.

Squinney--

...and I lift my glass to another resilient woman.

EhBeth--

Your plans for your 50th are inspiring me for my 70th.

And to all--hold your dominion.

Noddy --

Your insight is truly amazing; I have been a windmill tilter from way back.

Tai Chi--

We're a rare breed, us windmill tilters, but we're a congenial breed.

I choose to take that as a compliment, although there is a bit of barbarian in me, I think.

Happy Birthday to the Queen of the One-Liners...

You're the best, Noddy! (I hope you're writing a book.)

Swimpy--

You are a woman of simple tastes and you are close to nature, but you draw the line at body lice at the Bacchanal.

Eva--

You have a way with words yourself. Of course I'm writing a novel. I tell myself a chapter every night before I fall asleep.

Sometimes I'm more a Harpy (Harpie?) than a Valkyrie (Valkyra?)

Elegant set of acknowledgements there, Noddy.

I would certainly like to add my voice of a happy birthday cheer to someone who writes very articulately.

Hope it's been a good one! Very Happy

Osso--

Valkyra? We're gathering souls, not hiking. Remember we deal in those out-of-place souls who wound up on the battlefield because the libraries hadn't opened yet. In the afterlife, every harper has to do a turn at Odin's Mead Hall, but once they've finished shouting of Deeds of Valor they come our way.

Reyn--

You're a man of words as well as of deeds.

Jex--

Thanks.

Swimpy--

Glad to help.
