I'm now a full time musician,events planner and dj again...worked all weekend.... Monday is my lazy day, always has been.

Lazy day over, back to work.Lots to do but first to the gym, then to the phones, the desk, the comuter and the guitar.


got a call from a buddy last night who wants me to help him promote a National "Sing with an Idol" contest at karaoke bars nationwide.
He's picked up managment on one of the idol people that made it to Hollywood but not to the finals. He's recorded a cd and for my friends indie label it's doing pretty well. On his next cd there will be a duet with a female and we're going to run a contest for the girl to sing with him nationwide. I get a nice hefty 25% commision on everything I bring in. I can devote 1 hour a day to pushing this and even if I hit one half of one percent of the venues I pitch Nationwide this will be a big moneymaker. Just mention the name "Idol" and peoples ears' perk up.

On the amusement side, can you imagine some of the girls this will bring out?

Also many hours beginning to market for next year. Man, it's nice to be self employed again. sure beats selling furniture.
