sometimes things happen during our day-to-day routines that make us jump with excitement, or stare in amazement, or even cry in sorrow, but not everybody wants to hear about your stories. but here we do. we want your life stories. today in the canteen they ran out of pizza so i was forced to buy chips and gravy instead. ah, lets just moan about how life sucks and why everything should be made to suite our needs. they should have made more damn pizza!
Thanks to the internet, I've almost completed my Christmas shopping.
Now I'm virtually bankrupt. Also thanks to the internet!
Hey, congrats on being finished though.
I just found out I was on TV yesterday! I had no idea, and was in the midst of making a total fool of myself. (My friend said it looked like sozlet and I were "having a lot of fun." Uh-oh.)
I'm a lunchtime jogger and bring my gym bag with my running stuff in it
to work. I'm also a caffein freak and bring a thermos of coffee to work.
I put the thermos in the gym bag for convenience. What I did not do was
screw the stopper on tightly enough. What a mess!
Excuse me for asking, but is this a trouser related thread?

Lord ellpus in his trousers;
I always thought he had more than 1 trouser snake!!
Today my mind changed a bit and i started to spend money/physically make plans to try to improve my existence.
Went to the dentist and had a filling.
absolutely nothing has pissed me off today. That's different.
Went to Sam's Club, and had a delicious slice of pepperoni pizza.
Drove the Caravan (Mom's Taxi) to work today instead of the PT Cruiser.
"Mom's" as in your kids' mom, or your mom?
How's your mom doing by the way?

My kid's Mom's. We were just talking about that last night. With Nigel on
wheels (God help us!) and Hermione off in Darkest Cambridge the
minivan isn't reall y necessary any more.
My Mom is hanging in there, thanks. The RadioFrequency Ablation guy
wants more recent CT scans, so I have to bring Mom in for those in a
couple of weeks. Sigh.
Good convo with my boss. Might cause major league changes. Hmm, something to think about this weekend.
Whoohoo, glad you stayed on your feet, Phoenix, and good news, it sounds, Jespah..perhaps very good news.
I took Pacco for a walk last night. I don't do that much around here because I've a stupidass neighbor who lets his dogs bound out of his garage unleashed, one being part pitbull. Nice dogs, don't get me wrong, it's Pacco who goes into protect-the-sheep mode, that being me. But I've decided that instead of a total avoidance of walking him around here, I'll check out the parked car situation and the shut garage door situation.
So, the Pacc is an older fellow with some arthritis, and somewhat past his described expection of years of life. I've got my eye out for failing limbs..
and, damn, if he doesn't near stop walking after a few blocks. I have to carry him home, oooff, he's a heavy package - thus his name, Pacco.
The good news is... painful as it must have been, he'd collected some of those teeny goatshead burrs on each of his feet. Voila! he's better. So now I'll walk him in the street, less burry this time of year, and check his paws per block.
