What good things have you done for yourself?

I got lasik several years back...best thing I ever did just for me.



I bought 200 paper cups online, The greek ones that say "we are happy to serve you" on them. Coffee tastes so much better in them and I'm enjoying them every single day. It only takes me 10 minutes to drink my coffee, so I rinse it out and can use one for several days.

I don't like drinking coffee out of ceramic cups.

Okay then.

I started off by allowing myself to sleep an extra 30 minutes. After I took my son to school, I drove home by the scenic route to enjoy the fall color in the hills near the river. When I got home I took a shower and played with the shower massage. When my heart rate returned to normal, I dried off and used some brand new body lotion I've been saving for no particular occasion, then spritzed with the precious Jil Sander cologne that's almost empty, even though I wouldn't be going anywhere important. Then I slathered a whole (not half!) toasted bagel with some very rich honey almond cream cheese, a real indulgence, and ate it verrrrrry slowly.

That brings me to 10 a.m.

I won't bore you with the rest of my day.

The Lady Diane had an appointment for teeth cleaning at 11 a.m. this morning so at 12:15 I called her cell phone and invited her to meet me for lunch at a burger joint. She had a green chili-burger and I had a chili-cheese dog. She went off shopping and I came home; it was fun.

Is Lasik your eyeballs? That's a hoot about the Greek paper cups. i like it.

Altho I am PISSED OFF with my old man right now, the best thing I ever did for myself was moving from Chicago to Atlanta and meeting him. I guess...

I bought three mylar balloons: blue, gold and Yu-Gi-Oh. Also red seedless grapes.
