I agree with Rome in February. I went in Feb of 2003 and yes, no tourists!

As long as you still look gorgeous and sexy at 50 what's the problem?

Very Happy

What shall I do for my birthday????

It's in February - and it's a major milestone, so I have to 'party hard' (as daughter says).

I vote for having a male stripper.

I am, of course, available for a reasonable price...

Would that be deficit spending?

Not into male strippers...

But if peoples clothes should come off spontatiously - well...

I would LOVE to go to Italy - but sadly finances are still in recovery after France!

Unless there are any members with a spare Villa?

Nimh - you are welcome - with or without clothes.

I think a spit-roast is out, because I'd be forever explaining:

"No, not that kind of spit roast!"

And what about vegetarian guests?

And I might set fire to my Toga!

Of course, msolga!

I took it as read...

AND I have allocated you the bottom bunk.

It's a favoured spot with extreme party animals!

Walter's on top, msolga!

But will expect any guests to sign up to the Bunking Code of Parctice.

Just seen this, sarahg, after a very long and rather nerve racking fairground ride down the M40 from Brum.
My brain wasn't in gear and for a split second I thought I'd forgotten your 50th and it was all over and done with! (makes note - must read slowly and carefully next time)

Phew!

Whatever you end up doing, and wherever you end up doing it, it's bound to be a memorable occasion. You northern lasses certainly know how to party, and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

Where can I sleep? (although I quite like the idea of being one above msolga, I feel somewhat concerned that this will leave me underneath Walter)

Since the party will be short before lent, I think, some more sins aren't a bad idea ... . ... ehem, who asked exactly what?

Hey, Happy Birthday Smorgs and everyone else with a B-Day :-D

I would also go with having it at home and spending the $ on catering/cleaning.

I kinda liked Nimh,s idea about the male stripper and I think he'd look real sexy in a cowboy outfit.

He wouldn't have to take everything off, though. It's no fun if you don't leave something to the imagination.

Nimh, you can leave on your cowboy hat and the spurs Cool

Me, I'm a little worried about being on the bottom bunk, Ellpus! What if the upper ones all collapse? Shocked

I've always had a problem with the bottom bunk as well, so I'll just bring my sleeping bag and park it on the floor somewhere where I won't get stepped on by drunkin partiers.
