Fun? that was hard work!
But I made it through. Once I got Mali in place, things fell into place in not too disgusting a way.
found i knew the middle east very well, but not so good on north west africa or the -stans

O well..... the mower still works, It runs a bit rough but still goes ok if you give it heaps. Maybe the middle east will do the same.
Wow, this game made me realize how ignorant I am on this topic, had to do most of it by trial and error but I did learn lots.

I had good luck with the easy ones but where the hell is Uzbekistan? I THOUGHT I knew!
That was hard.
I was certain of one in each general geographical region (Libya, Israel, and Pakistan), and then was able to move out from there pretty well (Palestine is next to Israel, Afghanistan is next to Pakistan, etc.) Still didn't do that great, a lot of false starts. (Mauritania is in Africa? OK.)
I finally went on the web and found the countries I could not find and finished the puzzle. There was no prize.
