I find all of these 9/11 remembrances to be somewhat disturbing.

It feels like a celebration of death, a wallowing in self-pity, a glorification of terrorism.

I'm not saying don't remember, I'm not saying don't respect the tragedy, I'm not saying don't have your moment of silence.

I'm not talking to New Yorkers, or people who lost loved ones or family members.



But for the resto of America, it is starting to seem commercialized, gaudy, and tasteless.

There's a milking aspect that bothers me.

If we could learn to feel this much sympathy for the rest of the world we would probably have a lot less enemies.
